NNS marks National Insider Threat Awareness Month with a variety of events throughout September. This year’s theme is bystander engagement, defined as an individual who is aware of concerning behaviors or activities and knows how to address those concerns.

Throughout the month, NNS officials are hosting and participating in several supporting events, including security awareness bulletins, security news flashes, a security knowledge quiz bowl with drawings for swag, lunch and learns, and counterintelligence briefs to heighten awareness. Details on how to participate will be announced later.
