HEALTH AND WELL-BEING
BeWell For Life
BeWell for Life offers programs, services and events to strengthen your health and overall well-being. BeWell For Life resources, such as Know Your Numbers and tobacco cessation coaching, are free to all shipbuilders regardless of medical plan.
HERO: HII Employees Reach Out
HERO: HII Employees Reach Out offers emotional support and can help you find resources to handle any personal or work-related challenges you may face. HERO is operated by Anthem and offers referrals, counseling, resources and more for life’s ups, downs and major changes. All HII employees and their dependents and household family members are eligible to use the program, and it is 100% free and confidential.
HII Family Health Center
The HII Family Health Center offers convenient access to medical care, CVS pharmacy services and on-site vision care. The HII Family Health Center is available to employees and their dependents enrolled in an eligible medical plan (and those who enroll in a supplemental plan). The CVS pharmacy services are available to all shipbuilders.
FINANCIAL AND RETIREMENT SUPPORT
Alight Financial Advisors
If you want assistance with choosing the right investment mix or savings strategy to help you meet your retirement goals, HII offers eligible employees and their families access to retirement guidance and investment planning through Alight Financial Advisors.
Kashable
Kashable offers low-cost loans that can be used for any purpose and are a great resource for employees looking to tackle high-interest debt or cover unexpected expenses during financial hardships.
Purchasing Power
Purchasing Power is an HII-sponsored purchase program that allows eligible employees to purchase goods through payroll deduction.
SmartPath
SmartPath is a financial education and coaching benefit that provides personalized support to employees facing everyday financial hurdles. SmartPath offers all HII employees virtual confidential one-on-one coaching, monthly webinar classes and many other financial planning resources.

EDUCATION AND FAMILY
HII Scholarship Fund
The HII Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance to dependent children of HII employees who are pursuing a post-secondary college or technical-vocational degree and to dependent children who are enrolled in qualifying pre-kindergarten school readiness programs. Learning After the Whistle
Learning After the Whistle is a series of after-work, career and professional development courses open to all shipbuilders. Learn more and register for classes on MyNNS.

SAVINGS AND CONVENIENCE
Commuter Benefit
Make commuting to work a little easier on your wallet with HII’s commuter benefit. The commuter benefit, administered by Your Spending Account (YSA), allows you to save money on transportation to and from work while you are actively employed.
HII Discounts
Hundreds of businesses offer savings to NNS shipbuilders. Vendors include car care, theaters, travel, gyms, computers, maintenance services and more. HII Discounts is administered by Beneplace. Email [email protected] for questions and to attain HII’s company discount ID for access.
HRT GoPass365
NNS provides Hampton Roads Transit GoPass 365 passes to shipbuilders on a first-come, first-served basis at no cost. They can be used on all HRT services and must be swiped for a minimum of 14 rides per month. Request a pass under the resources tab on the MyNNS Parking and Transportation page. Shipbuilders without computer access should ask their supervisor to submit a request on their behalf.
