A.J. Hamilton (X43) was recently honored with a Level One On-the-Spot Ethics award for taking action to help rescue a girl who had been walking on a frozen pond when she fell into the water.

Hamilton, a volunteer firefighter in Gloucester County, rushed to the scene when he got the call. He shared the story of the December 2022 rescue in a Currents article earlier this year.

Xavier Beale, vice president of Human Resources and Trades, met with Hamilton to present his award and thank him for his heroic actions.
