More than 250 people participated in the NNS 5K Saturday, Oct. 7. The 3.1-mile course started and ended at Victory Landing Park. During the event, more than $160 and 257 pounds of food were donated to the Virginia Peninsula Foodbank, which equates to more than 700 meals for those in need.
