Several Newport News Shipbuilding employees volunteered their time to judge the 2023 Norfolk Public Schools Grades 3-7 Science Fair at Old Dominion University on March 25.

Students from across Norfolk who won their respective schools’ science fairs had the opportunity to present their experiments at the citywide science fair at the Mills-Godwin Building at ODU. NNS participants spent a Saturday morning evaluating these science projects, scoring the students’ performance and providing valuable feedback for the young scientists.
