Led by FitNNS, Newport News Shipbuilding had an outstanding showing in June at this year’s ADP Corporate 5K, earning first place in the female team, male team, and coed team categories.

Participation in the ADP Corporate 5K is about more than crossing the finish line. It provides an opportunity to connect employee wellness with engagement, teamwork and workforce connection.

Now it’s time to carry that momentum forward. FitNNS is looking ahead to the 2026 NNS 5K, scheduled for 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, at Victory Landing Park. Whether running, walking, volunteering, cheering on co-workers, or simply taking another step toward a healthier lifestyle, there will be an opportunity to get involved.
