John Kirkman (O53) and Rollin Blakey (O53) were recently honored with a Level One On-the-Spot Ethics awards for taking action when they witnessed a person experiencing a medical crisis.

Kirkman and Blakey were traveling on company business when they saw a man at a rest stop who was having trouble standing and appeared to be barely conscious. The shipbuilders immediately stepped in to escort the man to a seat and call 911 for medical assistance.

Cullen Glass, vice president of Supply Chain Management, met with Kirkman and Blakey to present their awards and thank them for their actions.
