Wanda Mills’ gingerbread house won first place in the O97 Team’s competition to raise money for the United Way. Shipbuilders Support United Way With Gingerbread House Competition

In December, the Overhead Team (O97) hosted a gingerbread house design and building competition to raise funds for the United Way. Adhering to COVID-19 restrictions, voting was held online, with a $1 donation required for each vote. The winning house received the most votes through donations. The team’s engagement and generosity made the effort a success and set the groundwork for a larger fundraiser later with intentions for a wider field of participants from across the shipyard.
