The Hampton Roads Heart Walks will take place Nov. 2 and 16. It’s not too late to join a team or purchase a Newport News Shipbuilding Heart Walk T-shirt.

Visit the Hampton Roads Heart Walk website to join one of 39 established NNS teams. Help reach the NNS goal of 2,500 walkers and $45,000 in contributions to the American Heart Association. Both events begin at 9 a.m. with an 8 a.m. check in:

• 2: Peninsula Heart Walk: Fort Monroe, 310 Fenwick Road
• Nov 16: Southside Heart Walk: Virginia Beach, 24th Street. Stage/Park, at 2400 Atlantic Ave.​​​​

All NNS employees who register and participate will receive a free NNS Heart Walk T-shirt.

Shipbuilders can support the cause by purchasing a T-shirt for family, friends and team members who are not employees. Cost is $10 each. For more information, email [email protected].
