The Apprentice School to Co-Sponsor Dec. 14 Toy Drive
Published December 4, 2024
The athletic departments of The Apprentice School and Virginia Peninsula Community College have once again partnered to hold a toy drive for their annual men’s basketball matchup.
The game is set for 6 p.m. on Dec. 14 at The Apprentice School. Fans who bring an unwrapped, unopened toy will receive free admission. All the donated toys will be sent to the JK Foundation and the Alive Church Dream Center to support their Christmas initiatives.
The game will also serve as a social for the Apprentice Athletics Booster Club. Booster Club members will get exclusive access to the social area above the court.
Last year, the Builders and Gators together donated more than 250 toys to the GiveBack Foundation, and the goal is to bring in even more for this second annual drive.
In the week before the event, boxes will be available at The Apprentice School for those unable to attend the game, but who would still like to donate.
