The Apprentice School is hosting an end-of-year internal recruiting event for current Newport News Shipbuilding employees Tuesday, Dec. 13. There will be two information sessions: one from 8 until 11 a.m. and another from 11:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Both will be held at The Apprentice School (Bldg. 1919).

Apprentice School staff will be on-site to answer questions, review unofficial or official transcripts and interview on the spot for those who qualify.

To be considered for an interview, attendees must complete an internal application and submit official transcripts prior to this event. Transcripts will be accepted on the day of the event for evaluation and guidance. Internal applicants must be able to maintain good performance and attendance on the job.
