
The Apprentice School’s Youth Builders Program Accepting Applications

The Youth Builders pre-apprenticeship program, hosted by The Apprentice School, is currently accepting applications for the 2025-2026 cohort.
Youth Builders is an afterschool enrichment program designed to encourage, empower and recruit the next generation of shipbuilders. Meetings are held on Tuesday evenings and focus on exposure to maritime trades, improved math skills and job readiness.
Additionally, Youth Builders receive a waived application fee when applying to The Apprentice School.
To be eligible for the program, applicants must be rising juniors or seniors and hold a GPA of at least a 2.0 with a grade of C or better in math and science classes.
Applications close on May 16.
