Things to know about NNS Family Day

WHEN: Saturday, Oct. 28, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
LUNCH SERVED: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Employees and their family members will be treated to food and beverages as well as special shipyard exhibits and activities for children.
Children of all ages are invited.
PARKING: All shipyard parking lots will be available on a first-come, first-served basis except for the Zone A lots at 41st and 42nd Street between Washington and Huntington avenues. If you park in All-Right Parking, you must pay the fee or your vehicle will be towed.
Windshield Tours: Pending approval, windshield tours of the shipyard will be available from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Guests must sign up for a tour time in advance. Registration will open Oct. 21. To participate in the Family Day Windshield Tour, all participants must be US Citizens.

Shipbuilders and family members who plan to enter the shipyard gate or take a windshield tour must wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes.
No coolers, lawn chairs, alcoholic beverages or weapons allowed.
Photography will be permitted in specific locations only.
