Newport News Shipbuilding employee resource group (ERG) SHIPs Network, alongside the ANCHORS and FitNNS ERGs, facilitates financial wellness workshop events in partnership with Bayport Credit Union.

Three shipbuilders – Alicia Lance (K69), Daryl Davis (O19) and David Vianu (O51) – each won a $1,000 debt paydown through a drawing for their participation in July’s financial wellness workshops.

Attend one of the October workshops for a chance to win a debt paydown:

• Tuesday, Oct. 21, at 12 p.m. via Microsoft Teams: “Shop Like a Pro this Holiday Season”
• Wednesday, Oct. 22, at 12 p.m. via Microsoft Teams: “Setting Financial Goals”
• Thursday, Oct. 23, at 4 p.m. at Coastal Fermentory: “Financial BINGO”

Shipbuilders interested in attending any of these workshops must register online to reserve their space.

There is no charge provided to participate in these events.
