Newport News Shipbuilding’s annual United Way campaign kicks off June 6 and runs through June 17. United Way brings together people, organizations and resources to improve lives across the Peninsula.

Together, shipbuilders can achieve more than any individual could on their own. It takes the entire community working together to bring about lasting change. By focusing on common goals that support basic things needed for a good life, NNS employees can help create a better tomorrow.

Contributions to United Way fund others to provide services, deliver services and coordinate collaborate programs to create a path to stability and self-sufficiency. United Way changes what’s possible by focusing on the building blocks of health, education and financial stability to create pathways out of poverty.
