The Newport News Shipbuilding 2026 United Way campaign, “United is the Way,” runs through the month of June.

HII and Newport News Shipbuilding have made giving back to those in need a part of company culture. Shipbuilders continue to support the communities they live and work in through the company’s partnership with the United Way of the Virginia Peninsula. Shipbuilders account for more than 40% of overall contributions each year.

Starting June 1, shipbuilders can make a one-time payroll deduction, recurring payroll donations or use a credit card to donate at www.uwvp.org/NNS. Shipbuilders can access this online donation form using a work computer, home computer/tablet or through the NNS to Go app. United Way campaign coordinators will reach out and provide details about the campaign and how to contribute.

Please note that NNS no longer uses the YourCause giving platform.

With a company goal of $1.2 million, each shipbuilder is asked to consider donating. When you give to the United Way of the Virginia Peninsula, 100% of your gift goes to support the community in creating pathways out of poverty.
