2025 W-2 forms will be mailed to all Newport News shipbuilders by Feb. 2 to the home address on file as of Jan. 9. Due to an issue with the functionality, shipbuilders are not currently able to access electronic W-2s via the Okta portal. The issue is currently being assessed.

As shared previously, some employees may qualify for a new overtime deduction for the 2025 tax year. Eligible employees may be able to deduct a portion of their qualified overtime earnings on their federal income tax return, potentially lowering their taxable income. We’re continuing to work through how best to provide the information needed to support this new deduction. While this can’t be finalized until after W-2s are issued, we’ll share additional details as soon as they are available.
