Effective Monday, Sept. 29, Newport News Shipbuilding’s Access Center – located at 210 39th St. – is modifying its hours to accommodate the new standard shifts for the production workforce. The Access Center will be open from 5:30 am-12 p.m. and from 12:30-3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Shipbuilders or visitors needing a temporary badge after hours should report to the 37th Street Gate for assistance. The 37th Street Gate can only issue a temporary badge to an individual who currently has an active NNS badge. First-time visitors and those needing to renew a visit must report to the Access Center during normal business hours.
