VERG is all about veterans supporting veterans. Through the diverse military experience of its members, VERG aims to enhance the image of NNS in the community and with NNS customers and provide support for disabled veterans, recently activated, honorably discharged and retired military personnel and their families. They also assist in the recruitment of qualified veterans for NNS by participating in job fairs and other company recruiting efforts. VERG meetings and special events keep veterans informed of Veterans Administration and shipyard benefits, healthcare, training and local retail discounts. In the community, VERG partners with the USO, Wounded Warriors and Veterans of Virginia.
