The second shift crew in Newport News Shipbuilding’s Component Fabrication and Assembly (CFA) Sheet Metal Shop proudly joined the movement for heart health, sporting their 2025 Heart Walk shirts as part of this year’s Heart Walk initiative. Rallying under the spirited slogan “Walk This Way with CFA,” the team came together to raise money and awareness for heart health.

Their participation highlights the power of community and commitment, proving that even a single crew can make a big impact.

“As a leader within the CFA division, I’m proud to support the 2025 American Heart Association Heart Walk ̶ driving engagement, wellness and purpose beyond the workplace,” said Brandon Hunt (M40), general foreman and Heart Walk team captain. “Together, we’re walking for stronger hearts, healthier lives and a united community.”
