“I’ve been doing janitorial work for about 15 years. I came to the shipyard because my husband works here as a cleaner, and I wanted a better quality of life. In any organization, the janitorial staff is extremely important because we maintain cleanliness, hygiene and other things of that nature. I just started working on my bachelor’s degree for cybersecurity. I’d like to move into that field when I finish school. I’m tech savvy, but otherwise it’s a new adventure for me. There’s just something about electronics and computers that draws my attention.”
