“I’m actually from Maryland. When I moved down here, it was to be with my girlfriend – who is now my wife – and my daughter. The distance was a hassle, but it took a minute to find the right job. That’s how I got into doing this work. Everyone needs things moved to keep the place running, and they trust me to make it happen. One of the exciting things I got to see when I first started was a Foundry pour. I’d never seen anything like it in my life, except on TV, and it got hot!”
