“I’m an Apprentice School graduate. My dad was an electrician, and my son is also here now as an electrician In shipbuilding, we are all a team and have to work together. If I don’t know something, I ask, and I’ve learned a lot because of it – both for here and for home. I’d tell any new electricians to be patient and soak up everything they can, but they won’t learn it all at one time.”

The series features shipbuilders’ photos and their brief statements. If you or another shipbuilder you know is interested in being highlighted, email [email protected].
