“I drove an 18-wheeler. I worked for the Daily Press. I was even a realtor for a while. I’ve been doing ship out for all of my 14 years as a shipbuilder. I learn about everything that comes through here so I can have as much experience as possible. It is my job to be the last eyes on anything that leaves the shop. It’s important to be sensitive to quality and make sure we aren’t sending just anything out so it’s done. Have some pride in what you put out. We want to give our best product to the Navy.”
