“I’ve been welding for four years now. I was in nursing school and woke up one day realizing that it wasn’t the path I wanted to follow. I love working with my hands and saw a TikTok of a lady welding. That was cool. The biggest piece of advice I’ve received is to not get in my own head and overthink – slow down to speed up. It feels good seeing the District of Columbia bow go out.”
