“I came through as an X31 apprentice. I bounced around a lot back then, but I went to refueling after graduating. We had a barge the needed a whole new system installed – underwater cameras, underwater lighting – that was pretty cool. This is my first sea trials. It is amazing to be on a vessel that we built in the yard, and to see it operate and move through the water. It’s remarkable. Shipbuilders, continue to take pride in all of the excellent work you do because it is so very important for our sailors who defend our country.”
