“They said that when I got done with the welding school, I would be an arc specialist. I was good, but the real specialists were already out there working. I learned a lot from them and a lot of other trades – it took five or 10 years to really all come together. My biggest piece of advice is always ask questions if you’re working with anybody who has a drawing. Before your shift is over, be willing to try that task yourself along with that person beside you. I thank all of my mentors who pushed me.”
