“Since starting here, I have built more appreciation for the military, our freedoms and what all of that encompasses. I was very fortunate that the foreman I came in under was highly engaged. It rubbed off on me. She would make up shipyard games that taught me a lot, and she enjoyed sharing everything she knew. There’s such a diverse group of people that work here – people just coming in out of high school, military retirees, older people like me – there are so many cultures here coming together.”
