“My dad served 30 years in the U.S. Marine Corps and my mom served 24 years in the U.S. Navy. Having parents and several other family members serve in the military helps put a face to the men and women who currently serve aboard our ships and submarines. They are someone’s mother, father, husband, wife, sibling, friend, etc. As shipbuilders, we’re making an impact. The work we do matters. I consider myself a lifelong learner, and I literally learn something new every day here at NNS.”
