“I’m a fourth-generation shipbuilder. My great-grandfather, grandfather and father all worked here. As a kid, I was in the Boy Scouts and would help hand out the swag and free gifts at christenings. Now I’m here. When the Machine Shop finishes a part, it comes here and we bring the part to final dimensions. As for what’s next, it’ll be whatever the shipyard has in store for me.”
