Visit the Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) homepage on MyNNS to check daily flag conditions, which are posted on the right side of the page. Red flag conditions indicate a heat index between 91 and 104 degrees Fahrenheit. Black flag conditions indicate a heat index of 105 degrees or higher.

Heat indices as high as 107 degrees are expected this weekend.

• Try to perform more intensive work during the coolest time of the shift.
• Drink plenty of water before and during your shift.
