MyIdea, Newport News Shipbuilding’s new formal feedback program, is now live and accepting submissions. Shipbuilders are encouraged to use the program to challenge the status quo and identify opportunities for improvement across the company.

Shipbuilders can submit ideas via the MyIdea website on MyNNS. Those without computer access can call the MyIdea Phone Line at 757-534-4332, or 4-IDEA.

The MyIdea team will evaluate, prioritize and implement ideas that support business needs and objectives. Shipbuilders will receive feedback and be notified of the results of their ideas and suggestions.

If an idea is related to an immediate safety concern, shipbuilders should call Environmental, Health & Safety at 757-688-5523. If an idea is related to an ethics or compliance concern, call the Open Line at 1-877-631-0020.
